Performance Benchmarking

The networking industry has several performance benchmarking test standards such as RFC 2544, RFC 5180 and Y.1564.

Today you can run the tests included in these standards manually with Ostinato – and several customers already do – but that can get tedious and time consuming. More so, if you need to repeat the tests e.g. when testing multiple switches (of same or different vendors) or trying different configurations on the DUT etc.

Wouldn’t it be great to run automated standard performance tests?
