Performance Benchmark

The networking industry has several performance benchmarking test standards such as RFC 2544, RFC 5180 and Y.1564.

I’m happy to share that work on an automated performance benchmarking suite using Ostinato is ongoing and an early access version (pre-beta) with RFC 2544 tests is now available to solicit real-world feedback from customers.

The pre-requisites to get Ostinato Perf-Bench are -

• You understand that this is an early-access version (feature-incomplete and limited testing)
• You already own and use Ostinato v1.3.0 for performance testing (Perf Bench is an add-on)
• Ostinato (base or high-speed Turbo) can achieve the rates required for your DUT/SUT
• You have the intent AND time to try Perf-Bench and provide feedback

To encourage high-quality, sustained feedback, the early access version of Perf-Bench is available at a substantial discount for a short duration.
